How do I join the Midwest Cycling Community?
It is really easy and you can do it online. Click Here to visit our club application page. Once you are signed up, please stop by any one of the clubs supporting Midwest Cycling locations to receive your coupon book and sweet new uniform.

What is a blog?
The word ‘blog’ is an abridgment of the term web log. We could explain it, but you can read all about it from our friends at Wikipedia. Don’t like reading, not a problem, watch this video.

How do I become a contributor to the MWCC blog?
Any current member of the Midwest Cycling Community can join. Signing up is simple, just click the link to the blog sign-up page and enter in your information. Please allow 24 hours for your information to be added to our database. Then you will receive and email from us with your username and password.

How do I create a post?
It’s simple, just login and select the “write” tab. Don’t forget to assign categories and tags to your post. Categories and tags will help other club members find information hidden within your post. If you don’t have a username and password to login, visit the blog sign-up page to get one.

How do I add a picture to my post?
The MWCC website is not designed to be an image hosting site. This means that to post an image you will need to upload your images to a site such as Picasa Web Albums or Flickr. These sites work excellent and provide you with pre-written html code to cut and paste into your post.

How do I read information about my local scene?
The MWCC website is designed around categories and tags. Categories and tags help you search for specific elements that are contained in each post. To view all stories about your local scene, simply click on your city on the left sidebar under categories.

How do I find cycling events in my area?
Look on the right side of every page. At the top you see an interactive calendar, if a date is highlighted in red then there is an event that day. Scroll over the date and the event details pop up. Or scan the links along the right side of the page and find links to race series organizations and other cycling resources.

How do I find the best bike shop in my area?
Now we are a little biased on this one, but we think you should go to www.midwestcycling.com to find the best bicycle shops in Omaha, Kansas City and St. Louis. These shops have a friendly staff, great selection and they are very supportive of cycling in the area.
