Friday, 06 June 2008

We know you are all wondering….prior to last nights rain we were in awesome shape for the race on Sunday.  The trails were drying out nicely and were actually rideable.  We will be out at Landahl all day today,  trimming the course…Look for […]

Robidoux Roundup

Midwest Cycling had a great showing at the 1st Heartland Series XC race in St Joe Sunday. Near perfect temps and a great new course were a great combo for racers from across the Midwest to test there hard work over put in over the winter and spring.
Omahas Midwest Cycling crew had a great day […]

Psycowpath Series

Friday, 02 May 2008

At 7pm Friday May 2, THOR and race volunteers completed an assessment of trail conditions.  While a muddy race *might* be possible Saturday, a dry race Sunday is way more fun.  Current trail conditions are damp enough such that any more rain would make the Saturday race miserable.  The […]

Dry trails by afternoon

We made the best of our bad situation.  Even though Damon and Rick drove down to Perry on Saturday, just to have the race cancelled, Damon made it back to O-town to join Troy, Charlie and myself for some tacky laps at Swanson.
This was the third HMBCS race to be rained out this year.  Hopefully […]

Crocodile Rock Cancelled

Bummer…what was an entirely too long winter, has now turned into a crazy wet spring.  I just want to race my bike on dirt, is that so wrong?

Perry Lake - HMBCS this weekend

Hopefully we’ll get to do some racing this weekend at Perry. It’ll be my first time out turning the pedals in anger. Should have a decent group coming down from Omaha to hit up some of that rock strewn singletrack.
Who all is planning on going?
